But, this is not only going to be a goodbye post. Last quarter, my teacher requested that I put all of my OCs (Lea, Millie, Bea) together in a situation. Although they've been in many situations together in the book I'm writing with my friends, I didn't exactly have them all together...by themselves. So, here's my final little story, which is basically all three of them screwing around. Enjoy!
"Um, who's she." Lea said, pointing at me. I smiled a little, waving, but scooted a little behind Bea. She glared at me, and shifted in front of her table that had gears scattered across it. I swallowed a little. Bea rolled her eyes, stepping away from me.
"It's Millie, a girl I'm babysitting for the day while Tyler and Cassie are out," Bea said, her voice a little bitter. "Ugh, I can't believe they came to me. Why do they think I'm good with kids?" As she spoke, I fidgeted a little, not really sure what to do, or to say. I didn't really mind that she was complaining, after all I deserved it, but I just didn't know what to do.
"H-Hi." I squeaked out, my voice smothered in a southern accent. "How're ya?" Lea and Bea's eyes shifted to me, violet and yellow piercing my orange. I bit my lip, taking a step forward. "I'm Millie, I like your doo-das." I pointed at the gears on her table and Lea scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"Doo-das. Great. Wonderful. Listen, kid, if you knew what these could do, your mind would stop working. I can guarantee that. After all, you're ten, right? Nevermind, don't answer that. I'm right. You can't begin to understand the abilities we can do, so your little head won't take in what these are. They aren't just doo-das." I looked at the table and then at her, scuffling my feet.
"Y'know, I have a power too." I mumbled, looking away. Lea quieted down, scanning me.
"Really?" She wasn't asking me; Instead, Bea shrugged, leaning against the wall. "Yeah, that's what Tyler told me. Something about clouds." I tilted my head up and smiled.
"I can control weather." Lea looked at me some more, her eyes flicking down my body, scanning it. "Hm." She hummed, and turned to her gears. Picking one up, she turned a dial and pointed it at me, a small light shining in my eyes. I squinted, turning my face away.
"Hey, what're you d--" Lea cut me off, pushing the light closer. "Shut it. I'm taking a few tests and notes with this." She said, looking at a little screen attached to the device. Her black lips were pursed, and the light shut off. I blinked a few times, dazed.
"Well, seems you're not lying, at least, you think you aren't. You can't control weather. Weather occurrences happen whenever your emotions go askew. When you're older you'll be able to control it. But for now, you're just an accident waiting to happen." I frowned a little, looking at Bea, who was standing from the wall.
"Don't be so harsh, Lea. She's just a kid. And she can control it a little, I bet." She said, defending me. I went quiet, looking at the floor. The two bickered for a while, talking about whether or not I should be tested, and whether or not I'm safe. Finally, Bea grabbed my hand, pulling me out the door.
"We're gonna get ice cream." She muttered, and I smiled a little, walking with her.
"I never had ice cream." I mumbled. She gasped, and scooped me up.
"Well, let's go get some, hm? You can't go on forever without having any," Bea said, pulling a small, tired smile. I smiled back.
"Yay!"

So, that was the little drabble I wrote. I didn't really have any idea in mind, just putting them together. And hoozah, they did stuff! Here's a picture of Lea and Millie, by the way (courtesy of Icon Generator):
